Durga Mantra (Prayer to Durga Devi)

सर्वमङ्गलमाङ्गल्ये शिवे सर्वार्थसाधिके ।
शरण्ये त्र्यम्बके गौरि नारायणि नमोऽस्तु ते ॥

Saranye Trayambika Gauri Narayani Namostute

  • She is the most auspicious one and the one who bestows auspiciousness upon all of the world.

  • She is pure and holy.

  • She protects those who surrender to her and is also called the Mother of the three worlds and is Gauri, daughter of mountain king.

  • We bow down to Mother Durga again and again. We worship her.

Ya Kundendu (Prayer to Saraswati Devi)

Ya kundendu tushara haara dhavala, ya shubhra vastravrita
Ya veena vara danda mandithakara, ya shwetha padmaasana
Ya brahmachyuthaha shankara prabrithibhi devai, sada poojitha
Samaam paatu saraswathi bhagavathi, nihshesha Jaddyapaha.

  • Salutations to devi Saraswati, who is pure white like Jasmine and covered with white garments, with the coolness of Moon, brightness of snow and shine like the garland of Pearls.

  • Whose hands are adorned with Veena and the boon giving staff and who is seated on white lotus.

  • Who is always adored by lord Brahma, Vishnu, Shankara and other devas.

  • O goddess, please protect me and remove my ignorance completely.

Apadamapa Hataram (Prayer to Lord Rama)

ओम आपदांपहर्तारम् दातारम सर्वसम्पदाम्
लोकाभीरामम श्रीरामं भूयो भूयो नमाम्यहम

Om Apadamapa Hataram Dataram
Sarva Sampadam
Loka Bhi Raman Sri Raman

I repeatedly do namaskaar or respectfully bow down to Lord Shri Raam who removes all obstacles and blesses one with all types of wealth.

Atulita Bala Dhamam (Prayer to Hanuman Swami)

अतुलितबलधामं हेमशैलाभदेहं
दनुजवनकृशानुं ज्ञानिनामग्रगण्यम् ।
सकलगुणनिधानं वानराणामधीशं
रघुपतिप्रियभक्तं वातात्मजं नमामि ॥

Atulita-Bala-Dhaamam Hema-Shailaabha-Deham
Danuja-Vana-Krshaanum Jnyaaninaam-Agragannyam |
Sakala-Gunna-Nidhaanam Vaanaraannaam-Adhiisham
Raghupati-Priya-Bhaktam Vaata-[A]atmajam Namaami ||

  • (I Salute Sri Hanuman) Who is an Abode of Unparallel Power, and Whose Huge Body is like a Golden Mountain,

  • Who is like a raging Fire over the Forest of Demons, and the Foremost among the Jnanis (the Wise ones),

  • Who is a Storehouse of All Good Qualities and the Master of the Monkeys,

  • Who is a Dear Devotee of Raghupati (Sri Rama) and the Son of Vayudeva; I Salute Sri Hanuman.

Krishnaya Vasudevaya (Prayer to Lord Krishna)

कृष्णाय वासुदेवाय देवकी नन्दनाय च ।

नन्दगोप कुमाराय गोविन्दाय नमो नमः ॥

Krssnnaaya Vaasudevaaya Devakii Nandanaaya Ca |
Nanda-Gopa Kumaaraaya Govindaaya Namo Namah ||

  • Salutations to Sri Krishna Who is the Son and the Joy of Father Vasudeva and Mother Devaki,

  • Salutations to Him Who is the Boy of Cowherd Nanda and Who is Himself the Lord Govinda; Salutations, Salutations to Him again and again.

Om. We worship and adore you, O three-eyed one, O Shiva. You are sweet gladness, the fragrance of life, who nourishes us, restores our health, and causes us to thrive. Kaayena vaachaa manasendriyairvaa
Buddhyaatmanaa vaa prakriteh svabhaavaat
Karomi yadyat sakalam parasmai 
Naaraayanaayeti samarpayaami

Oh Lord, whatever I have done, whatever actions I have performed, whether through speech, through thought, through my senses, through my mind, through my hands or just through the nature of my existence, I lay it all at Your Holy Feet. Every aspect of my life and existence are completely surrendered to You.

वक्रतुण्ड महाकाय सूर्यकोटि समप्रभ ।
निर्विघ्नं कुरु मे देव सर्वकार्येषु सर्वदा ॥

Vakra-Tunndda Maha-Kaaya Suurya-Kotti Samaprabha |
Nirvighnam Kuru Me Deva Sarva-Kaaryessu Sarvadaa ||
