Youth Organization

The Bhavani Shankara Mandir Youth Organization was founded in 2005. Under the guidance and leadership of the head priest, youth coordinators and teachers have taken the initiative to keep our culture alive in the upcoming and growing youths. The Youth Organization has maintained its goals in producing dancers, singers, and musicians. Children are able to learn about their religion, tradition, rituals, and culture. The Bhavani Shankara Mandir Youth Organization consists of children that are motivated, energetic, fun, loving, and are able to maintain good attitude and a sense of humor. The Youth Organization has become a small family, in which they stand together to be a positive role models and an encouragement to many other youths in the Community.

The Bhavani Shankara Mandir Youth Group helps with cleaning after the weekly Sunday Services. The Youth Group is also responsible for setting the sound system for any occasion at the Mandir. The youths contribute with their talent in music and singing during services.

The Bhavani Shankara Mandir Youth Organization had its first show in 2009 which consisted of prayers, singing, musical pieces, and dances. With the funds raised from this show, the Youth Organization was able to achieve their goal in purchasing a new PA System for the Mandir along with microphones and cords.
